We Believe
About the Bible: The Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is infallible and contains the keys to salvation and all of Christian Living. (John 5:39; Matthew 24:35; II Timothy 3:15-16; II Peter 1:21) About God:There is one God. He has revealed Himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9) Jesus is the Flesh of God:The one true God has made Himself known to the world in the man, Jesus Christ. Jesus is God robed in flesh. God took upon Himself the form of man. In Him (Jesus) dwells all the fullness of the Godhead in bodily form. Jesus in His humanity was man (the son of God). In His deity, He was and is God. (Isaiah 9:6; John 8:58; John 14:8-11; Colossians 2:9-10; I Timothy 3:16) Salvation:Salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, made possible by Jesus death, burial and resurrection. In obedience to His Word, we must repent for our sins, be baptized in water in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of our sins, and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost with the initial evidence of speaking with other tongues (another language). This fulfills what Jesus told Nicodemus when He said you must be born again of water and of the Spirit to enter into the Kingdom of God. Peter preached this message of salvation in the book of Acts when the Holy Ghost was first poured out on the day of Pentecost, the start of the Church age. (Ephesians 2:8; Hebrews 5:9; I Corinthians 15:1-4; John 3:3-5; Acts 2:1-4; Acts 2:37-39; Acts 5:32; Acts 10:44-48; Acts 19:1-6) Miracles and Divine Healing:God still heals, delivers, and works miracles today, as He did in His earthly ministry and in the early Church. As His children, we have the right to come boldly before the throne of grace and trust Him for our needs in Jesus name. (Hebrews 4:16; Matthew 8:2-3; Mark 4:39; Mark 5:1-15; Mark 5:22-42; Acts 16:25-26; I John 5:14-15)

Our Pastor Our Pastor
In May of 2000, Dave Stovall accepted the role as Senior Pastor at Abundant Life Church. Previously, he served as Youth Pastor for 15 years at Greater Bethel Tabernacle in Houston, Texas, and Principal of Bethel Christian Academy for almost 10 years. He received a Bachelors degree in Church Administration from Twin Cities University in 1999. Pastor Stovall has worked with the youth of the Texas District UPC on a district and local level for a number of years. He also served on the Texas District Sunday School Committee. He is blessed to have Pam, his wonderful wife and helpmate, and son, Logan. They are a perfect fit for the Abundant Life Church family!
Pastor Stovall is a man of vision and has a passion and desire to win souls. He is known for his compassionate heart and welcoming spirit to all. He has a contagious energy and excitement for the future and is looking forward to the end-time outpouring of the Holy Ghost, both locally and world-wide!
Our Assistant Pastor
Russell Hayes joined the staff of Abundant Life Church in June of 2002 as Youth Pastor and became full-time Assistant Pastor in June of 2008. He has worked Texas District Youth Camps for 18 years and also served as Texas District Section 9 Youth Director for 4 years. He and his wife, Alisha, are both blessed with vibrant personalities and beautiful singing and musical talents, and are a blessing to many different areas of the church! They are blessed with 2 beautiful daughters, Ashton and Addison.

Children 
The Sunday School Ministry is an action-packed, high-energy ministry that strives to reach children of all ages with the gospel of Jesus Christ in a fun and exciting way. They meet in classes, according to their age groups, for Bible lessons on Wednesday nights at 7:30 pm., and come together on Sunday mornings for Power Hour.

Power Hour is a totally kid-based service designed to allow them the opportunity to be involved in the worship with fun songs and messages about the love of God. Once a month, there is a special Power Hour where the children have the opportunity to win Incredible Pizza, McDonalds and other gift cards, as well as play games and do crafts.

ALC Live ALC Live
is an exciting group of young people that come together to learn and experience the love of God in a fun and interesting way. ALC Live purpose is to reach this up-and-coming generation with the whole gospel of Jesus Christ during this difficult time of their teenage years. ALC Live meets every Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. for a lesson prepared especially for their age group. They go places like Laser Rage, Incredible Pizza and have game nights on Friday Nights. They also have fun and exciting outings where they meet with other youth groups and have good, clean fun! Fusion also looks forward to various out-of-town trips where they form lasting friendships with their peers.
Once a month ALC Live has a powerful youth service called Friday Night Live. Young people from area churches come to connect with us as we lift up the name of Jesus in an exciting and lively atmosphere.

Dynamic Duos Dynamic Duos
Abundant Life Church has a ministry specifically designed to meet the needs of married couples ranging from 40 years of age and younger. The Dynamic Duos meet at least once a month for a time of fellowship and fun. Russell and Alisha Hayes have a great burden to see that young couples are equipped to make their marriage last.
Topics that are relevant to todays young couples are discussed in this time of fellowship. The Hayes' exemplify ways to apply biblical truths to our daily lives as we grow in love with each other while pursuing a greater relationship with the Lord.
In order to help promote interest in The Dynamic Duos, a couple is selected as the Couple of the Month at each monthly fellowship. The Couple of the Month receives special honor with reserved parking and a sign to place in their yard. They also receive prizes that are chosen as they spin the Wheel of Blessing.

Warriors 
Warriors
The Warriors of Abundant Life Church are a group of adults ages 40-59 that believe that living for God is rewarding and fun. The motto of our group is Warriors Winning Willis!!
Under the leadership of Ben and Sherry McKinnies, the Warriors get together
in fellowship with one another, take trips and go on exciting outings. Previous activities include: Creighton Theater, deep sea fishing, out-of-town trips, as well as bowling and meeting at homes for fellowship. The Bible teaches that the people of God are to continue in fellowship and the breaking of bread together, in order to remain unified in their mission of reaching others. The Warriors have many new events coming up and are always excited to have new people involved.
Pillars Pillars
The Pillars promote spiritual growth and Christian fellowship for all church members 60 years of age or older. This ministry seeks to connect with the seniors of Abundant Life and keep them involved in fellowship activities.
The Pillars are a wealth of knowledge for the younger people. Their life experiences can be used as a great example. Bob and Brenda Yuengel along with Aubrey and Jean Stovall lead this group in some exciting times.
Activities include such things as ice cream socials, gatherings at fellow Pillar homes, and a host of other kinds of outings. If you are of this age group and are looking for friends to fellowship with, then The Pillars are what you need!

Thank you for taking the time to find out about the Abundant Life Music Ministry. We strive to achieve excellence in every aspect of our ministry and endeavor to let the Spirit work through every song, every instrument and every voice. It is our desire that we begin each service by creating an atmosphere of praise and worship where lives can be changed and hearts can be opened to the power of Christ.

Natalie Blanks has been the Minister of Music at Abundant Life Church since October of 2010. Previously, she spent almost a year at First Love Church of Texas City, Texas, serving as Music Director. She has attended Sam Houston State University, as well as Gateway College of Evangelism, and is currently pursuing a degree in Elementary Education from Liberty University. She teaches private piano lessons and is dedicated to developing a new generation of anointed musicians and singers.
Spanish Ministries Spanish Ministries
Rev. Juan X Perez was born in the country of El Salvador, he is a naturalized US citizen. He married Claudia Perez, and he had 5 children: Xavier, Martha, Daniel, Joseph, and Jeremiah. He Graduated from The technical Cultural of san Miguel, in El Salvador with a Bachelors in Accounting. He also recieved a degree in business administration from University of El Salvador.
He was baptized in the beautiful name of Jesus Christ May 5, 1985 in tabernacle De Vida, Houston TX. September of 1985 he enrolled in the Spanish Bible College directed by James Kilgore and after 4 yrs graduated with a certificate in theology. Immediately after graduation started a church in the City of Nacogdoches Tx. where God blessed with many souls increasing daily. After a couple of years of teaching in Nacogdoches he also started a Church In Marshalls TX.
After 7 yrs God called Perez to Pastor in his home church Tabernacle De Vida, Houston TX. He continued to pastor there for 15 yrs. From 1996 to 2010. Begining in November 2010 till present he joined the ACL team and is working to start a Spanish church, God has blessed him greatly.
His ministry has expanded to 20 daughter works not just in the USA but in other countries. He has been a blessing all over Latin America and a help to thousands of souls with his ministry of encouragement and training skills. He has a certificate in Christian counseling and is director of Llamados Conference (an international conference being held for over 10 years in USA and Latin America), and is also the director of Llamados magazine, to God be all the Glory.

Mens Ministry Men's Ministry
MISSION STATEMENT: To develop and promote men who love and fear God (Psalms 118:8 and Ecclesiastes 12:13, 14)
VISION. To develop a ministry which addresses the fellowship needs of men at ALC, provide information on service opportunities, and encourage ALC men to support church ministries.
PURPOSE: To support men in their Christian walk and development toward spiritual maturity. Men will be challenged through Bible study, prayer meetings, and times of fellowship. This ministry is designed to develop productive relationships between Christian men, both within and outside of the ALC family.
