Miracles and Divine Healing:
God still heals, delivers, and works miracles today, as He did in His
earthly ministry and in the early Church. As His children, we have the
right to “come boldly before the throne of grace” and trust
Him for our needs in Jesus’ name. (Hebrews 4:16; Matthew 8:2-3;
Mark 4:39; Mark 5:1-15; Mark 5:22-42; Acts 16:25-26; I John 5:14-15)
Worship:
We pray together outloud because…
Acts 2:4 says, “they lifted up their voice to God with one accord…”
We lift our hands in praise because…
Psalms 134:2 says, “Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless
the Lord.”
We sing with all our hearts because…
Psalms 98:4 says, “make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth;
make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.”
We play musical instruments because…
II Samuel 6:5 says, “…and all the house of Israel played before
the Lord on all manner of instruments…”
We clap and shout unto God because…
Psalms 47:1 says, “…O clap your hands all ye people; shout
unto God with the voice of triumph.”
We dance in the spirit because…
Psalms 150:4 says, “…praise Him with the timbrel and dance;
praise Him with stringed instruments and organs.”
We testify publicly because…
Psalms 22:22 says, “I will declare thy name unto my brethren; in
the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.”
We anoint with oil for divine healing because…
James 5:14 says, “Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders
of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the
name of the Lord.”
